In an interview with worldpop Hayes said, 'There's definitely a solo album from me on the way, I've got tons of stuff. It's looking like it will be more dancey, more electronica than Savage Garden. And I think Daniel will go into movie scores cos his melodies are very filmic and elaborate.' According to the group's manager Larry Tollin, Hayes has also been working on a film screenplay he hopes to have produced. Shouldn't be too difficult as Hayes counts legendary directors George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola among his close friends Savage Garden are likely to regroup in late 2001 or early 2002 to record their third album and the follow-up to last year's Affirmation, which has now sold seven million records worldwide. Worldpop, 15th November 2000 Hold Me was at number 17 midweek, but apparently has now moved up to number 13. Listen to Radio One this Sunday to see where they end up.
